University of Siena

The University of Siena is one of the oldest in Europe with ancient tradition of teaching and research at high levels; it offers Bachelor’s, Master’s and Long Cycle degree Courses, a large number of Doctoral programmes and Postgraduate Courses.
Siena also offers one Bachelor and twelve Master degree courses entirely held in English: the bachelor degree course is in Economics and Banking and the master degree courses cover the areas of Economics, Finance, Management and Governance, International Studies; Public and Culture Diplomacy, Cognitive studies, Physics, Engineering and Mathematics, Biotechnologies, Environmental Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacy, Geology.

With over 18.000 students the University of Siena ranked first among the medium-sized Italian Universities for study grants and services for students according to the CENSIS Research Institute classification 2018. The Times Higher Education World University Rankings considered the University of Siena in a position between 401 and 500.

Over the years, the University of Siena has enhanced its strategy of internationalisation, aiming at attracting students and researchers from all parts of the world and at establishing long-term partnerships with universities, public and private institutions all over the Globe. To this end, it is member of many important national and international networks: Coimbra Group, EUA, EURAXESS, IAU, MAGNA CHARTA OBSERVATORY, ISCN, TUNE, UNIMED and COPERNICUS Alliance.

The international cooperation of the University of Siena is based on:
•400 valid Erasmus partnerships;
•500 Erasmus mobility scholarships for outgoing students and trainees per year;
•800 Incoming students and staff per year;
•250 partnerships with Universities in Europe, Africa, Latin America, Canada, Russia, Japan, Middle East, USA, and Vietnam;
•72 Foreign Universities involved in international Ph.D. programmes;
•20 Foreign Universities involved in Master’s programmes.

University of Alcalá

The University of Alcalá is the second oldest university in Spain. It was founded in 1499 and during its long existence it counted some of the most prominent figures of the Spanish culture amongst students and scholars.
Its more than 29,000 students, 1,627 teachers and researchers and 762 administrative and service staff members are engaged in more than 38 official degree courses, and a wide range of postgraduate and continuing education courses.

Institute of Law at the SWPS University of Social Sciences and Humanities

SWPS University, established in 1996, is a leading higher education institution in Poland.
The Institute of Law was established in 2019. It coordinates and oversees research projects of legal professionals at SWPS University.

Bank of Italy – Legal Services Directorate

The Bank of Italy is the central bank of the Republic of Italy. It is a public-law institution regulated by national and European legislation. The Bank pursues aims in the general interest in the sector of money and finance.
The Legal Services Directorate handles all legal matters in which the Bank has an interest, providing advisory services and participating in court proceedings. It also assists the Governing Board on legal questions and for any other matters as requested. It carries out legal research on topics of interest to the Bank, including in collaboration with other units.
